Language: This week, our letter sound will be combination qu. We are also working on words with blends,sight words and syllables. Please review the word lists your children will be bringing home every week.

Literature; Dr.Seuss week.

Journal Writing: Animals of Africa.

Math: We will continue our unit on money.

Art:  Dr.Seuss book extension art projects.

Science:  Discussion on Amphibians and frogs.

Geography: We will learning about the animals of Africa and have discussions on what is special about Africa. We will also, learn about Kenya.

Literature: Interactive discussion on The Frog Prince.

Math: We will continue our unit on money.

Art:  Draw the Frog Prince.

Social Studies: We will discuss about few famous Black Americans: Rosa Parks, George Washington Carver and Harriet Tubman.
