It is
hard to believe that this will be our last Newsletter for the 2017-18, academic
year. Your children have had a great year. When I compare these children now
with their first day of school, I derive so much pleasure in observing their
growth and progress.

This
month in Geography, our last continent study will be on Australia.
In
Science, we will learn about Mammals, the Human Body, Nutrition and our Five
Senses.
In
Math, we will be reviewing all the Math concepts the class has learned so far.
As
part of our Famous Artists unit, we will learn about Pablo Picasso.
Important dates in May:
Friday, May 4: Kentucky Derby at the Gym
Friday, May 11: Mother’s Day: 1 PM-2:30 PM.
Kids Club will be available from 2:30 PM.
Thursday, May 17: Field trip to Exploration
Place.
Friday, May 25: Last day of school, Beach
party at the quad at 10:30. School will be dismissed at 11.
Tues, May 29: Parent-Teacher Conferences,
(optional).
Many thanks for sharing your wonderful
children with me. I have had a great year with them. The children have all
blossomed and have grown in all areas. I appreciate all your support and co-operation.
