Language:  Our letter sounds for this week will be f . As part of our daily phonics lessons, we are working on consonant blends, vowels and listening to sounds in a word.

Handwriting: We are working on our handwriting without tears curriculum.

Math:We will learn about graphing.

Science: We will learn continue to learn and identify different kinds of leaves.

Geography: We will learn about Mexico and conclude our unit on North America.

Art project: The Mayflower Journey.

Language:  Our letter sounds for this week will be s. As part of our daily phonics lessons, we are working on listening to the sounds  in a CVC word, consonant blends and ending sounds.

Handwriting: We are working on our handwriting without tears curriculum.

Math:We will continue our unit on addition.

Science: We will learn about bats and learn the names of different kinds of leaves.

Geography: We will start our unit on the continent of North America. We will learn about the animals of North America. We will also learn about Canada and Mexico.

Art: Fall art work

Special event: Friday, October 28: Mother Goose Parade and classroom Fall Party.

Our Pumpkin Predictions!

We each predicted how many seeds does our class room have. We also predicted whether the pumpkin will float and sink. When we counted the total no of seeds in our pumpkin the number was 450.
