Language: . Our letter sounds for the week will be m. As apart of our phonics lessons, we are learning to make words with the m sound, listening to the ending sound in a word, and blending three sounds to make a short vowel word.

Math: As part of our math curriculum, we are working on Symmetry.

Writing: . This week we will learn to write the letter m.

Geography:. We will learn about Canada and Mexico. We will also learn the names of the countries in Central America. We will conclude our unit on North America.

Science: We will learn about owls, spiders and bats.

Food Preparation: Apple cutting activity.

Art: Owl art project

Important dates: Tuesday, October 24: In-house field trip from Great Plains Nature Center at 2 pm.
Thursday, October 26: KG field trip to Walters Pumpkin Patch.
Friday, October 27: Mother Goose Parade and Fall Party.
