Language: We will be introduced to digraph th. As part of our daily phonics lessons, we are learning to manipulate sounds in words, we are learning to listen to the th sounds in words in a sentence, and we are learning to hear the accents on syllables in words.

Math: Montessori math activities.

Science: This week's unit study will be on insects.

Geography: Introduce the continent of South America and the animals that live in South America.

Journal Writing: Insects.

Art: Art projects related to insects.

Food Preparation: Juicing an orange.

Special food prep: Frosting butterfly cookies.

Foreign Language: Introductory French lessons.
