Language: . Our letter sounds for the week will be i. As apart of our phonics lessons, we are learning to listen to the a or o sound in a word, counting the number of words in a sentence, and listening to the syllables in a word.

Math: As part of our math curriculum, we are working on Graphing.

Writing: . This week we will learn to write the letter I.

Geography: We will conclude our unit on North America.

Science: We will learn about things that are solid and liquid. We will also learn to match animal footprint transparencies with the corresponding animal/ bird pictures.

Food Preparation: Apple cutting activity.

Famous Artist: We will discuss about Wassily Kandinsky.

Art: Kandinsky style related art project.

Language: . Our letter sounds for the week will be m. As apart of our phonics lessons, we are learning to make words with the m sound, listening to the ending sound in a word, and blending three sounds to make a short vowel word.

Math: As part of our math curriculum, we are working on Symmetry.

Writing: . This week we will learn to write the letter m.

Geography:. We will learn about Canada and Mexico. We will also learn the names of the countries in Central America. We will conclude our unit on North America.

Science: We will learn about owls, spiders and bats.

Food Preparation: Apple cutting activity.

Art: Owl art project
