Working Together: Week of August 25-29
We have had a great start. The children are adjusting well to the new classroom environment. Our focus this week has been to learn the school and classroom procedures. They are also making new friends. Our heartfelt thanks to Mrs. Patti Yetter for starting the school year for Montessori Kindergarten.
Imp Dates: Pre-K and K Parent Night on Thursday, August 28 from 6:30-7:30 PM.
No school on Labor Day: Monday, September 1
Language: We have started our daily phonics program.
Handwriting: The children are learning the proper formation of letters through the Handwriting without tears program.
Geography/ Science: We have started our Unit Study on the Solar System. This week we are learning about the Inner Planets.
The children are exploring the different areas of the classroom. Many thanks for providing healthy snacks.
