Working Together: Week of  May 14-18

Language: We will be introduced to vowel patterns in words and learn to divide words. As part of our daily phonics lessons, we are learning to separate words in compound words, to substitute sounds in words and to determine the no of sounds in words.

Math: Review Montessori math .

Science:  We finished our 5 senses unit by tasting things that are sweet, salty and sour. As part of our nutrition unit we had fun with food stickers and placing them on the right food groups on the plate.

Geography: We were introduced to the continent of Australia. We also learned about its animals.

Special event: KG field trip on Thursday, May 17.

Foreign Language: Our last class on foreign language will be on Friday, May 18.
