Working Together: Week of September 23-26
Language: The letter sound of the week will be p. We are also learning how to blend sounds to make a word, and listening to sounds at the beginning and end of a word.
Math: The children are working on Montessori Math work.
Geography/Science: We will learn about apples, water forms, properties of air and have discussions on fall.
Art: Our art project will be on apples.
Famous Artist: We will introduced to the famous artist, Vincent Van Gogh. The class will recreate his famous painting "The Starry Night".

Geometry: The class will be introduced to hexagon, trapezoid and rhombus.
Food prep: We will continue with muffin peeling, grape plucking activity.
Birthday: Happy Birthday, Claire. She will celebrate her 6th birthday on Wednesday, Sept 25.
Special event: Thursday, Sept 26: In-house Field trip from Great Plains Nature Center.
No school on Friday, Sept 27: Teacher-In- Service.
