Language: Our letter sounds for this week will be m and i. As part of our daily phonics lessons, we are working on listening to the sounds in a CVC word, the number of syllables in a word, rhyming words and how many words are in a sentence.
Handwriting: We are working on our handwriting without tears curriculum.
Math:We will be learn about addition.
Social Studies: We will learn about Firefighters.
Science: We will learn about spiders and finish our pumpkin unit.
Art: Pumpkins, Spiders and Recreate the Starry Night Painting.
Special event: Firefighter visit on Thursday, October 20.
