Working Together: Week of November 13-17

Language: . Our letter sounds for the week will be f. As apart of our phonics lessons, we are learning to generate words with the s sound, learning to separate the words in a compound word, identifying the sounds in consonant blends, and listening to the f sound in a word that can be found in a zoo.

Math: As part of our math curriculum, we are continuing with our unit on Measurement.

Writing: . This week we will learn to write the letter f.

Geography: We will learn about the Native Americans and how they lived. We will conclude our unit on Thanksgiving.

Art: Totem poles, Tipis and Hand print Turkeys.

Food Prep: Pancakes with Maple Syrup.

Important dates: Tuesday November 14: Picture Retake day.
8:30- 9:30, November 17: Grandparents day/ Thanksgiving program
9:30-10:00- Grandparents visit classrooms.
